These photographs are a reflection of the spaces and moments that have shaped my childhood, captured in my grandfather’s house in San Sebastián, where I have spent every summer of my life.

My friend and model Mariana Sousa stayed for a few days in San Sebastián in August 2024, and she was photographed in the familiar cadence of summer days with my nieces Uma, Vera, my nephew Bruno, and my daughter Salomé.

The space and the people in these pictures, both in front of and behind the camera, hold a deep emotional connection for me.
